SCHWINN – Have Fun Out There // Intergrated Campaign

Have fun out there.
There are certain laws of nature that must be obeyed.
Having fun is chief among them.
If we don’t have fun every once in a while, there’s going
to be consequences.
But who will enforce this inalienable fun law?
Who will keep us safe from stress?
Who will stop us from going too fast?
Bike cops, that’s who.
In this campaign, we’ll create two quirky brand ambassadors—
bike cops who ride around town on Schwinns.
They represent our brand values and give citations to the perps who don’t.
They encourage people not to talk on their cell phones during dinner.
They give moving violations to others for rushing to work.
It’s their duty to ensure we slow down and have fun out there.
TV commercials and print will feature the two characters, then drive traffic
to a website where viewers can see full-length webisodes and further
interact with branded entertainment.

COSTA RICA – Welcome To Planet Earth // Intergrated Campaign

We think we live on the Earth,
the blue planet, the third rock from the sun.
But in these asphalt jungles and seas of mini-malls,
it’s like we don’t even know what Earth really is.
In fact, it’s like Earth is different planet.
Costa Rica holds 27% of its country in protection
which means that the forests, seas and rivers
are the way they have been since the last ice age.
Therefore visiting Costa Rica is like taking
a spaceship from the planet we know and
landing on planet Earth.

Many people don’t realize that there’s something wonderful
happening in Costa Rica every single day of the year.
Let’s create a living calendar map focusing on the fact that
there’s always something other-worldly happening in Costa Rica
no matter when or where you’d like to go.

Agencies In Action is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to coalesce the New York City advertising community behind the cause of alleviating poverty throughout the city. Agencies In Action is comprised of agencies and individuals who believe that poverty can be fought in our neighborhoods through acts of compassion both big and small.

The advertising industry is full of people who thrive on dreaming up solutions to difficult business problems. We are all disciplined organizers, problem solvers, and communicators. Agencies In Action wants to apply these skills and talents to seemingly intractable social problems. We want to use the wealth and creative energy inherent in the advertising industry to help less fortunate New Yorkers get back on their feet.

Though tremendously fun, working in advertising can, at times, seem inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.
